About Capital Cavoodles Canberra

Welcome to my site, My names Zara and I'm your breeder/Dog trainer at Capital Cavoodles Canberra. We are located north side of Canberra in Moncrieff which is only 5 minutes off the Federal highway.

I hold a state breeding and MDBA licence with over a decade of experience in both breeding and training, priding myself in legitimacy, high standards, professionalism and a warm kind family orientation.

I specialise in the breeding of Toy first generation teddy bear Cavoodles also known registered name as Theodores.

Also breeding pedigree Blenheim King Charles Cavaliers and Toy Poodles.

We have two main focuses when breeding at Capital Cavoodles Canberra.

Firstly is on breeding healthy well mannered calm puppies, we only breed well matched DNA pairs ensuring generational health. We conduct regular vet checks and a clean professional set up environment within our home.
The Second is temperament/education and training. Our puppies are raised with love, affection and care within our home, they're handled, socialised and toilet trained. I start basic manners and education like toilet training, sit, mat, crate, bed, stay and down from birth to ensure they transition smoothly into their new homes. No ill mannered puppies here.

You will have guidance from a professional the whole time, so after puppy pick up and months on I am here to help you with puppy training, face time/video calls, one on one training and advice.

Capital Cavoodles Canberra also has an online community group where you can access important updates, training videos, connect with other puppy families, share your journey and experiences while keeping up to date with local events and meet ups.

*Check in services- Whether you work long hours, want a weekend away or going on a lengthy holiday. This service lets you leave your animals at home in their familiar environment, I come to you feed, water, walk groom, pick up poo and all while wearing a body camera sending you the footage afterwards to give you peace of mind with security of your home and loved ones.

*Puppy training- Sessions with you in your home so you can learn together with professional guidance. (My speciality)

A new puppy for first time owners can be very overwhelming, a lot of the time you just need someone to come in helping you apply structure and routine. With extra support giving you the confidence you need.

*Dog walking- I am completely cover by insurance, I also wear a body camera at all times for your dog's safety and your peace of mind. (All footage is sent to you after each session.)

All walks are private one on one quality time with your dog/dogs only! No big unsafe groups with other dogs. (No group sessions)

Your session is your time and focus.

*Overnight stays dog training- (minimum stay 1 week boarding, very limited and depending on current breeding schedule.)

*Dog boarding- (this service is only offered to previous clientele and limited spots apply depending on my breeding schedules)

Firstly if the offer seems to good to be true it usually is, If something doesn't feel right its probably not.

Understand the expenses of a REPUTABLE breeder and do your back ground checks, Don't look for cheap deals, you'll end up being a target for scammers or stuck with an unhealthy dog that will cost you heart break and thousands in the long run.

Yes you might pay a Little more but you will have peace of mind, a healthy dog with breeding history, papers, insurance, good temperament, manners, permanent breeder contact, a companion with no hidden surprises and a proper life expectancy.

Why are top professional breeders so expensive?

To breed a well bred healthy dog, you have to have a well bred, registered, papered, clear DNA tested breeding team and that costs a lot of money.

On top of this we have to pay thousands a year for state permits, state breeders licenses, state inspections, vet reports and that's not including Breeder associations permits/licenses/registrations and fees, each breeding dog has to have their own individual breeding license and permit, not to mention insurance, belonging to dog clubs and other associations. It costs a ridiculous amount to LEGALLY be a responsible reputable registered breeder.

This also doesn't include the mother and her litters vet checks, litter registration, insurance, certificates and so on.

So keep this in mind when searching and ask to see these things in your face time.

Always buy from a reputable experienced licensed breeder asking to face time/video call to not only ask lots of questions but to see the breeders face, breeding team and litter available.

Keep in mind Scammers can steal photos, videos and even breeding license numbers so always ask to see state permits, certificates and licenses. Make sure they match the details in the add.

No legal reputable breeder will deny you this.

Look out for non legitimate dog associations like RPBA where you just pay a fee to join, this is where back yard illegal breeders go cause they don't have healthy cleared paper work or DNA papers to be accepted professionally and its just a face to try and look good.

Every breeder has to have a state license, associations are for different types of breeders and or breeds/colouring/shows or competitions.

Every association website will have a breeders check where you enter a member ID or number.

If you are being contacted only by what's app or email and they're demanding money before showing a pup SCAM, if they won't provide you with FaceTime or a video call to view for legitimacy Scam!
